hello from las vegasi'm planning a trip
I have to renew my drivers license this weekend, and I have to take the written test because of that ticket I got back in 2002 when I went home for my birthday. So this means a trip to L.A. and a trip to the shopping mall and being able to buy clothes none of the other fat bitches in Vegas will have, so I won't have to worry about being anyone's accidental twin while out in public. Cause that shit sucks.
working overtime
I'm grateful for the opportunity to pad my check, but I'm feeling tired already. It will be worth it in the end, I'm totally sure, but that doesn't stop me from wanting to make a pallet behind my desk and passing the hell out.
someone is testing my patience
The most amusing part of it is that she thinks she’s putting one over on me, and I am going to go on letting her think that. They make easier victims that way.
random question
Why didn't Fry's have the new Roots cd?

Monday, July 12, 2004Frankie Beverly and Maze
On Saturday I went to a concert at the MGM Grand Garden Arena that featured Stephanie Mills, Gerald Levert and Frankie Beverly and Maze. It was the second most awesome concert I've been to this year (Prince being the first) and I have to say that after seeing him live on stage, I am officially Gerald Levert's screaming groupie bitch.

AnchormanPlease go see this movie. I was still laughing in the car on my way home. I've been browsing around and some people have written some pretty snarky things, but I laughed more at Anchorman than I did at White Chicks (which i thought was dumb) and I laughed good and hard. There were times in the theater where I was unable to recover from a particular joke or gag, and I'd find myself laughing at it five minutes later. I know the people in the theater were probably like, "Damn, bitch, it's not that fucking funny." I was high too, so take from that what you want, but I'm not one of those get high and get silly and giggly kind of people; Nakachi or Ms CJay can verify that for me. I truly think Anchorman is worth the price of the matinee and I highly recommend you go see it.

Wednesday, July 07, 2004what the fuck?
I'm starting to keep notes because someone said that is what I should do. I might be keeping them on you, so watch your mother fucking step.
It's funny when you realize that someone really isn't as good of a friend as you thought they were. You start to see them in an entirely different light. The pedestal has crumbled so to speak.
And then there are the men. I have had no less than five men come to me this week and tell me that they are leaving or planning to leave their significant other. Not for me, you understand. I'm just the listening ear. Is there something in the air?
There is dust all over my Jeep and I'm sad about that. My one guy friend said, "Uh, Momo, it's a Jeep. It's supposed to have dirt on it." Not mine though. I liked it when it was the pwettiest jeep liberty on the road.
My nails are about an eight of an inch too long and getting on my nerves when I try to type. Oh the typos! I have to keep backspacing over everything.
My homeboy called me to tell me I left my sunglasses and my Floetry Live CD at his house when we were there on Sunday. I asked him if he was still tender about me tapping that ass in Monopoly, Dominoes and Scrabble on Sunday night. He told me to shut up.
I'm still at work at 6pm today even though I came in at 5am. Don't ask me why. I'm a glutton for punishment. The OT is worth it though. I have a 6:30 appointment to view a new condo and should I like it, the extra money will come in oh so handy.
Anyway, I'm boring and this was so dialogish, the one thing my English 101 teacher told me to avoid.
